1. Overview
2 Wheel Development is a non-profit organization operating an online auction platform. All items listed on our site are sold on an “as-is” basis through a bidding process. By participating in any auction, you acknowledge and accept the terms below.
2. No Returns or Exchanges
Due to the nature of auctions, we do not accept returns or exchanges. What you bid on is what you will receive. All sales are final.
Exceptions will only be made if:
- We have shipped the incorrect item (i.e., not the item displayed and described in the auction listing).
In such cases, please notify us within 5 calendar days of receiving the item. We will arrange for the correct item to be shipped at our cost, or issue a refund if the correct item is unavailable.
3. Item Descriptions and Accuracy
We take care to ensure that all descriptions, photographs, and condition reports are true, clear, and accurate.
Buyers are encouraged to review all provided details carefully before placing a bid. If you require additional information about an item, please contact us before bidding.
4. Event Cancellation Policy
In the case of in-person fundraising or auction events:
- If an event is cancelled due to natural disasters, severe weather, public health emergencies, or similar force majeure events, a new date will be offered before considering any refunds.
- Only if the event cannot be rescheduled, will refunds be issued for any ticket or participation fees already paid.
5. Refunds (Where Applicable)
If a refund is approved (e.g., for an incorrect item or cancelled event with no new date), it will be processed within 10 business days, and returned via the original payment method.

7. Your Legal Rights
This policy is provided in accordance with South African consumer protection regulations, including the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA) and the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) where applicable. Please note that auctions are generally exempt from the “cooling-off” period under ECTA Section 42(c).
